Locum Tenens Cardiac Anesthesia

About the role

An anesthesia provider responsible for covering a variety of surgical cases including adult structural, pump, open heart, thoracic, complex vascular, and neurosurgical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia coverage, including general anesthesia when no cardiac cases are scheduled.
• Perform central line and arterial line placements.
• Manage 5-8 patients per shift during weekdays, with some evening call coverage.
• Provide anesthesia care in a fast-paced environment, ensure patient safety, and collaborate with surgical teams.
• Maintain professionalism and adhere to clinical standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in adult anesthesia.

Skills

• Proficiency in managing diverse surgical cases.
• Skills in vascular access procedures.

Schedule

Ability to work 1-2 weeks per month in a flexible schedule.
