Locum Tenens Cardiac Anesthesia

About the role

We are seeking an experienced anesthesiologist for a clinical role specializing in cardiac anesthesia cases with TEE certification. The position involves managing 5-8 patients per shift across 16 operating rooms, primarily focusing on cardiac procedures.

Responsibilities

• Manage 5-8 patients per shift in a high-volume cardiac anesthesia setting
• Perform procedures including arterial lines, central lines, and regional blocks
• Provide anesthesia care for adult patients undergoing cardiac procedures
• Manage cases independently and document in an online portal
• Deliver quality patient care in a fast-paced environment
• Beeper call duties as required

Requirements

• Recent Volume-verified TEE Certification
• Proficiency in cardiac anesthesia procedures
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment

Schedule

Monday to Friday, 7 am - 5 pm, with beeper call duties. Availability for 1-2 weeks per month, with an immediate start preferred.
