Roles and Responsibilities

• Affords patient health through interviews and physical examinations
• Updates and studies medical histories
• Documents patient care in records
• Serves patients by providing outpatient services
• Provides health maintenance and education
• Conducts well-women gynecological exams
• Provides patient education
• Maintains knowledge of immunization schedules and health maintenance recommendations
• Orders and evaluates laboratory and x-ray studies
• Completes Continuing Medical Education
• Maintains licenses and prescribes medications
• Participates in community health screenings
• Communicates with the Medical Director about complex cases
• Interacts effectively with patients and colleagues

Qualifications

• Current valid license as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) in Oklahoma
• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
• Excellent clinical and diagnostic skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Dedication to high-quality patient care
• Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
