Locum | Physician Urology

About the role

Provides both inpatient and outpatient adult urology care. Requires laparoscopic surgery, ureteroscopy, and renal/bladder ultrasound skills. Works a 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off rotation with 4 clinic days plus 1 OR day per week, seeing an average of 20 patients per shift.

Responsibilities

• Performs laparoscopic surgery, ureteroscopy, and renal/bladder ultrasound procedures
• Works in both inpatient and outpatient settings
• Participates in a 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off rotation schedule
• Schedules and manages patient appointments
• Collaborates with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive urological care

Requirements

• At least 1 year of relevant experience in adult urology
• Pediatric urology experience preferred
• No call coverage required

Qualifications

• Medical degree from an accredited institution
• Board certification in urology
• Licensure to practice in the state(s) where the position is located
