Locum | Physician Urology

About the role

A locums urologist is needed to provide coverage at a facility in Olympia, WA. The position involves 24-hour beeper call shifts, typically one week per month with 3-4 shifts per week.

Responsibilities

• Perform TRUS biopsies
• Handle incontinence procedures
• Manage penile prosthesis cases
• Conduct Extracorporeal Shock Wave Lithotripsy (ESWL)
• Preferred skills: ureteroscopy, nephrectomy, prostatectomy, robotic surgery
• Ongoing coverage required

Requirements

• Current medical license in WA
• Board certification in Urology
• Experience in outpatient and inpatient settings

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
