Locum | Physician Thoracic Surgery

About the role

Inpatient only setting — rounding and admissions required.

Responsibilities

• General CV/thoracic surgery — open and endoscopic procedures required
• CABG (on pump and off pump), valvular repair, aneurysm repair required
• TAVR, LVAD, AICD placement, lung resection including VATs required
• Bronchoscopy, vent management, esophagus and diaphragm surgeries required

• Call ratio: 1:24 — 5 phone consults, 4–5 patients seen, 4–5 admissions per 24-hour call
