About the role
A Locum Tenens Pulmonologist is needed in Kansas.
Responsibilities
- 8-hour rounding and 24-hour on-call shifts
- Treatment of 10 - 12 adult patients per day
- Inpatient setting, specifically Med/Surg ICU
- Pulmonary consults and ICU coverage
- Ventilator management, central line insertion, and intubations required
- Practice limited to adults only
- Ongoing coverage needed
- Rarely called in overnight
Requirements
- Current medical license in Kansas
- Board certification in Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care Medicine
- Experience in managing ventilators, central lines, and intubations
- Excellent communication skills
