Locum | Physician Pulmonology - Critical Care

About the role

A 12-hour on-site coverage plus 12-hour call coverage is required at a Virginia facility. The position involves 10 – 15 patient encounters per shift in a closed-door ICU setting. A 30-minute call response time is required, and both in-person and phone rounding are needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform 10 – 15 patient encounters per shift
• Conduct 12-hour on-site coverage and 12-hour call coverage
• Provide care in a closed-door ICU setting
• Respond to calls within 30 minutes
• Participate in in-person and phone rounding

Requirements

• Current medical license in Virginia
• Experience in an ICU setting preferred
• Excellent communication skills

Qualifications

• Board-certified Pulmonologist
• At least 3 years of ICU experience
