About the role
A Locums Psychiatrist is needed for an 8-hour shift Monday through Friday at an inpatient acute psychiatric unit in Spokane, WA.
Responsibilities
- Treat patients with anxiety, psychotic, affective, and personality disorders
- Participate in admissions and inpatient rounding
- Familiarity with involuntary commitments and restraint application
- Equal split of new and follow-up patients per shift
- Admissions required
Requirements
- Fellowship training preferred
- Current medical license in WA
- Board certification in psychiatry
Qualifications
- Experience with inpatient psychiatric care
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay
