Locum | Physician Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
About the role
This position is at a rehab hospital setting with a 2nd call with a 15-minute response time and a 1:5 call ratio. It involves seeing 10-18 patients daily with up to 20 patients per shift. The responsibilities include performing electromyography (EMG) and nerve conduction studies, pain management without injections, joint and trigger point injections, and epidural and facet blocks. Additionally, there are 3-5 phone consults per 24 hours with a 90% callback rate.

Requirements

Qualifications
Qualified candidates must be board-certified in family medicine or internal medicine. Experience in a rehab hospital setting is preferred.
