Assignment Details

• Call only coverage -- beeper call with 30-minute response time
• Call ratio 1:5 with 30% callback rate
• Avg call volume: 3 phone consults, 2 patients seen, 1 admission per 24hrs

Facility Information

• Level 3 pediatric facility
• Laparoscopic surgery -- appendectomy, cholecystectomy, hernioplasty, Nissen
• Head/neck, chest wall, breast, and vascular surgery skills required
• Gastrointestinal endoscopy, minor orthopedics, and hand surgery experience required
• Ventilation management, chest tube, central line, and PA catheter skills
