Locum | Physician Pathology

Responsibilities

• Monday - Friday, 8 am - 4:30/5 pm -- call required
• 35 - 50 surgical cases per day
• 1 - 6 cytologies per day -- FNAs, BALs, body fluids, sputums, brushings
• No cytotechnologist on staff to screen
• Digital pathology -- surgical cases read on computer
• Frozen sections required -- pathologist must cut independently after 3 pm
• Occasional frozen sections -- bone marrows sent out, no paps

Qualifications

• We negotiate better pay and deposit it weekly
• We arrange complimentary housing and travel and comprehensive malpractice coverage
• We simplify the credentialing and privileging process
• Access to online portal for assignment details and time entry
