Locum | Physician Pathology

About the role

Weekdays, 8 am – 5 pm — no call
20 – 40 surgicals per week
10 – 15 Paps per week
1 – 6 non-gyn specimens per week
Bone marrows — 0 – 6 per week
Procedures: surgicals, Paps, non-gyn specimens, bone marrows

Responsibilities

• Perform surgical procedures
• Conduct Pap tests
• Handle non-gynecological specimens
• Process bone marrow samples

Requirements

• License to practice medicine in good standing
• Experience in neuropathology preferred

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently

Skills

• Knowledge of neuropathology techniques
• Proficiency in medical terminology
