Locum | Physician Orthopedic Surgery

About the Role

CompHealth simplifies the locums process by handling credentialing, housing, travel arrangements, and other details, allowing you to focus on patient care.

This is a long-term locum partnership offering up to 10 days of coverage per month in a hospital setting, including ER call and inpatient rounding.

Schedule

• Weekday schedule: 8 hours of clinic/rounding plus overnight call
• Weekend call: Friday 7 am to Monday 7 am (24-hour coverage included)
• Overnight call volume: approximately 0–1 calls per night on weekdays
• Weekend call volume: approximately 2–4 calls per weekend

Responsibilities

• Provide general orthopedic surgical and non-surgical care
• Perform joint revision/repair procedures (hip, shoulder, and knee)
• Handle ER call and inpatient rounding
