Locum | Physician Orthopedic Surgery

A Facility in Maine is seeking a locum tenens Orthopedic Surgeon to provide coverage in various settings including inpatient and outpatient. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience with arthroscopy, total joint replacement, and joint revision and repair procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform arthroscopic procedures
• Conduct total joint replacements
• Handle joint revisions and repairs
• Provide coverage in both inpatient and outpatient settings
• Respond to calls within a 20-minute response time
• Manage an average of 6 phone consultations per 24 hours

Requirements

• Current medical license in good standing
• At least 3 years of orthopedic surgery experience
• Experience with arthroscopy, total joint replacement, and joint revision and repair
• Excellent communication skills

Qualifications

• Board certified or board eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
• Ability to work independently and manage a high volume of cases
• Strong interpersonal skills for working with patients and hospital staff
