Locum | Physician Neurology

About the role

This is an ongoing inpatient hospital assignment requiring 1–2 weeks of coverage per month. The role involves stroke and general neurology inpatient service with rounding, supported by 24-hour coverage (7 am – 7 pm inpatient plus night pager).

Responsibilities

• Manage 10–15 patients per shift in an inpatient hospital setting
• Provide stroke and general neurology inpatient service with rounding
• Interpret radiology studies
• Administer thrombolytics
• Perform and interpret EEGs
• Conduct brain death examinations
• Admissions are not required

Requirements

• Proficiency in radiology interpretation, thrombolytics administration, EEG, and brain death exam
