Locum | Physician Neurology

Responsibilities

• Covers ED, stroke program, and inpatient consults
• No clinic visits required
• Call only, beeper call type
• Includes radiologic exam interpretation, lumbar puncture, thrombolytic therapy
• EEG, EMG, NCV, evoked potentials, and nerve/muscle biopsies are preferred
• Brain death exams and pain management procedures are included
• Botox and peripheral/spinal nerve blocks are part of the scope

Requirements

• Paid malpractice insurance
• Pre-paid travel and housing expenses
