Locum | Physician Neurology
About the role
Hospital-based neurology position with 12-15 patients per day. Requires stroke coverage and EEG skills. Performs approximately 15 procedures per week.
Responsibilities
- Provides neurology care in a hospital setting
- Handles 12-15 patients daily
- Responds to stroke calls within 4 minutes
- Performs up to 15 procedures weekly
- Utilizes biomed support as needed
- Engages in 24-hour weekend call and evening pagers
Requirements
Must have completed medical school, passed licensing exams, and have current medical license. EEG skills are preferred.
Qualifications
Experience in neurology is preferred, but not required. Must be able to work weekends and evenings.
Skills
Excellent communication skills, ability to manage multiple tasks, and proficiency in EEG techniques.
