About the role

Locum assignments vary in duration—from as short as a day to as long as several years—and can be local or require travel. This opportunity offers true flexibility tailored to your specific needs and career phase.

Responsibilities

• 24-hour call shifts (7:00 AM to 7:00 AM)
• 7–10 calls per 24-hour shift
• Hospital-based practice (privileges required)
• 70% spine surgery, 30% cranial surgery
• Common cases:
  • Lumbar laminectomy
  • ACDF (Anterior Cervical Discectomy and Fusion)
  • Spinal deformity correction
  • Craniotomy for hematoma, tumor, and shunt placement
• General neurosurgery skills required
