Responsibilities
- Managing 260-300 deliveries annually
- Providing 12-hour shift coverage on a rotating schedule
- Responding promptly to OB emergencies
- Performing Vaginal and Cesarean deliveries
- Handling hemorrhage and hypertension crises
- Conducting fetal monitoring evaluations
- Performing OB triage assessments
- Evaluating and caring for labor and delivery patients
- Facilitating postpartum discharges
- Participating in OB emergency simulation drills
- Coordinating care with multidisciplinary teams from antepartum to postpartum
- Performing hospital rounds and follow-up care
Qualifications And Skills
- Medical Doctor (MD) with OB/GYN specialization
- Experience with high-volume deliveries and emergency response
- Ability to perform deliveries and manage OB crises
- Proficiency with Epic EMR system
