Locum Physician (MD/DO) - Obstetrics and Gynecology

About the role

Seeking an experienced Obstetrics and Gynecology MD for a locum tenens role in Columbus, OH.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient OB care in a Level II trauma facility
• Manage low and high-risk pregnancies
• Perform routine and complicated deliveries, including C-sections and VBACs
• Interpret fetal heart rate monitoring (NST, CST, FSE) and conduct OB ultrasounds for viability and interpretation
• Manage postpartum care and repair third and fourth-degree lacerations
• Collaborate with a team of RNs, PAs, NPs, and office staff to deliver comprehensive patient care

Qualifications

• Board-certified or eligible in OB-GYN
• Active Ohio medical license or eligible for licensing
• Certifications in BLS and EFM from NCC

Key Duties

• Perform procedures related to obstetrics and gynecology, including ultrasounds and deliveries
• Manage both low and high-risk pregnancies with appropriate interventions
• Provide patient-centered care in inpatient settings, ensuring safety and quality outcomes
