Locum | Physician Interventional Radiology

About the role

A locum tenens position is available for an Interventional Radiologist in West Virginia. The ideal candidate will be based in Charleston, WV and will work 7 on/off shifts per month, Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM with night and weekend call.

Responsibilities

• Perform a high volume of complex and diverse interventional radiology procedures, including but not limited to thermal ablation and radioembolization, embolization, portal hypertension, hepatobiliary interventions, venous access, and complex vascular interventions.
• Work in a high-end interventional radiology practice with a broad range of advanced image-guided interventions.

Requirements

• Current medical license in West Virginia.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Interventional Radiology.
• Experience with advanced interventional radiology techniques, particularly thermal ablation and radioembolization.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Qualifications

• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of interventional radiology techniques.
• Ability to manage a high volume of cases with a diverse case mix.
• Experience with complex vascular and interventional oncology procedures.

Skills

• Advanced interventional radiology techniques, including thermal ablation and radioembolization.
• Experience with complex vascular and interventional oncology procedures.
