About the role
Image-guided biopsies, catheter-based treatments, and vascular procedures are performed under the supervision of an interventional radiologist.
Responsibilities
- Perform image-guided biopsies, catheter-based treatments, and vascular procedures
- Conduct biopsies, drain placements, nephrostomies, gastrostomies, and embolizations
- Execute IVC filter placement, fistulagrams with declotting, biliary, and venous interventions
- Obtain temporary privileges
Requirements
- IR fellowship required
- 14 days on, 14 days off schedule
- Call coverage: 5 pm – 8 am CST weekdays; 24-hr Sat/Sun call
