Locum | Physician Interventional Radiology

About the role

A locum tenens Interventional Radiologist is needed to cover inpatient consults and outpatient clinic visits from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm. The selected candidate will supervise 3 full-time APPs who perform procedures and IP consults, and will be responsible for performing general invasive interventional radiology procedures including biopsies, kyphoplasty, port placements, para/thoracic procedures, and more.

Responsibilities

• Covering inpatient consults and outpatient clinic visits from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm
• Performing 9 - 10 procedures per day including inpatient and outpatient
• Supervising 3 full-time APPs who perform procedures and IP consults
• Performing general invasive interventional radiology procedures including biopsies, kyphoplasty, port placements, para/thoracic procedures, and more

Requirements

• Current medical license in good standing with the state of Michigan
• At least 3 years of experience in interventional radiology
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree
• Board certified or board eligible in interventional radiology
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Schedule

The schedule is from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm, covering inpatient consults and outpatient clinic visits, with 9 - 10 procedures per day including inpatient and outpatient.
