Job Summary
A locum tenens opportunity is available for an Interventional Cardiologist in Douglas, GA. Coverage is required Monday 7am – Tuesday 5pm with additional long weekend stretches. Call coverage is included along with some rounding and scheduled procedures. The consult service averages 10 – 12 per day and APP support is available Monday through Friday. Interventional and general cardiology procedures are required, and there is inpatient work with varying patient volume.
Responsibilities
- Perform interventional and general cardiology procedures
- Provide consultation services averaging 10 – 12 per day
- Participate in urgent coverage as needed
- Work with APP support from Monday through Friday
Requirements
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Cardiovascular Disease
- Current Georgia medical license
- Ability to obtain APP support within 30 days of start date
- Experience in interventional and general cardiology
- Strong clinical skills
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
- Excellent clinical skills
