Locum | Physician Interventional Cardiology
About the role
Join an interventional cardiology team with a focus on STEMI cases, cardiac cath and TEE procedures, and nuclear stress tests. Responsibilities include reading echocardiograms on weekends, managing interventional and STEMI call with rounding, and covering general cardiology on-call.
Responsibilities
- 1-2 STEMI cases per weekend
- 1-4 inpatients per day for rounding
- Cardiac cath and TEE procedures required
- Read nuclear stress tests and echocardiograms on weekends
- Interventional and STEMI call with rounding
- Separate general cardiology on-call coverage
Requirements
Must have completed an ACGME-accredited cardiothoracic surgery residency program and be board certified or board eligible in Cardiovascular Disease and/or Interventional Cardiology. Must also have a current unrestricted medical license in good standing.
Qualifications
Experience with cardiac cath and TEE procedures is preferred. Knowledge of nuclear stress tests and echocardiograms is beneficial.
Skills
Strong communication skills are essential, as is the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
