Locum | Physician Hospitalist

About the role

A Kansas facility is seeking a locum tenens hospitalist to provide coverage on a 24-hour shift schedule from 7am to 7pm, with additional 7pm to 7am night call.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical care to patients under the supervision of the medical staff.
• Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and team meetings.
• Manage patient flow and ensure timely discharge planning.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers to coordinate patient care.

Requirements

• Hospital privileges required.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree.
• Current licensure to practice medicine in the state of Kansas.
• Completion of an accredited residency program in internal medicine.
• Experience in hospitalist care preferred.
