Locum | Physician Hospitalist

About the role

Hospitalists will see an average of 13-16 patients per day, with 8-24 patients per day on average, split between two providers. The position is in a hospital setting with eHospitalist availability overnight for critical patients. ICU experience is required, while pediatric experience is a plus but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Run codes
• See 8-24 patients per day, averaging 13-16
• Split patient load between two providers
• Work 7 am - 7 pm with on-call Fri, Sat, and/or Sun nights 7 pm - 7 am
• Available for eHospitalist overnight for critical patients
• Manage ICU patients

Requirements

• ICU experience required
• Pediatric experience a plus but not required
• Leave coverage provided

Qualifications

Family medicine and internal medicine experience preferred.
