About the role
Wednesday – Sunday, 7 pm – 7 am night shifts (12-hour)
Avg census of 15 patients per shift — approx 2 admissions per night
Inpatient rounding required — hospitalist setting
Approx 3 phone consults and 2 patients seen per 24-hour call period
No procedures required — must be comfortable with codes
ICU experience preferred

Responsibilities
- Develop relationships with patients
- Manage patient care in a hospitalist setting
- Handle up to 2 admissions per night
- Conduct up to 3 phone consultations per night
- Provide inpatient rounding services
- Assure comfort with medical codes
- Work with ICU patients when available
Requirements
- Family medicine or internal medicine residency
- Board certification in family medicine or internal medicine
- Comfortable with medical codes
- ICU experience preferred
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR)
