Locum | Physician Hospitalist

About the role

A solo position with 8 am – 8 pm shifts, including 24-hour call. Average of 3.5 to 4 patients per day. No procedures or ICU involvement, with tele-ICU support. Responds to trauma codes with assistance from the trauma team and ancillary services.

Responsibilities

• Treat a varied caseload of patients in a solo hospitalist setting
• Manage patient care without the need for procedures or ICU involvement
• Respond to trauma codes with assistance from the trauma team and ancillary services

Requirements

• No ICU involvement

• Tele-ICU support available

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in family medicine or internal medicine

Skills

• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to manage a varied caseload
• Experience with tele-ICU support
