Locum | Physician Hematology Oncology

About the role

Hematology / Oncology positions are available at an outpatient facility with a split between hematology and oncology, serving an adult population. Schedules are Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, with remote calls. The workload is expected to be 10 to 15 patients per day.

The position requires hospital privileges and is full-time, with Friday afternoons designated for administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

• Treating adult patients with hematological and oncological conditions
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
• Participating in clinical research studies
• Assisting with patient education and counseling
• Maintaining accurate medical records and documentation

Requirements

• Medical degree from an accredited institution
• Board certification in Hematology / Oncology
• Current medical license in good standing
• At least 3 years of relevant clinical experience

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in electronic health record systems

Skills

• Excellent diagnostic and therapeutic skills
