Locum | Physician Hematology Oncology

About the role

Hematology / Oncology position at a COC accredited cancer center with 17 patients per shift, including 1 hour of new patient visits and 20-minute follow-ups. The role involves 9-hour shifts with weekend 24-hour call and weekday night call shared with others. Midlevel supervision is required.

Responsibilities

• Treatment of inpatient and outpatient oncology patients
• Participation in clinical trials
• Management of a 18-bed chemotherapy suite
• Collaboration with multidisciplinary team

Requirements

• Experience with inpatient and outpatient oncology care
• Midlevel supervision skills
• Ongoing assignment with multiple dates available

Qualifications

• Medical degree
• Licensure in applicable state(s)
• Board certification in Hematology / Oncology

Schedule

Monday – Friday, 8 am – 5 pm with 9-hour shifts and weekend 24-hour call, weekday night call shared with others.
