Locum | Physician Hematology Oncology

About the role

- Mon – Fri, 8 am – 5 pm; 1 weekend call per month
- 14 – 16 patients per day plus daily consults
- Mix of practice: med onc 70% / hem 30%
- Hospital consults available once up to speed
- Hospital privileges required
- 12-week assignment or long-term options available

Responsibilities

• Provides medical care to patients with hematologic and oncologic conditions
• Mix of practice: 70% medical oncology and 30% hematology
• Handles hospital consults after gaining proficiency
• Requires hospital privileges
• Available for 12-week assignments or long-term positions

Requirements

• Hospital privileges required

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree
• Current medical license in good standing
• Experience in medical oncology and/or hematology

Skills

• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple patients effectively
• Knowledge of hospital systems and procedures
