Locum | Physician Geriatric Medicine
About the role
This position involves providing outpatient geriatric primary care services to 16 to 20 geriatric patients daily in an outpatient geriatric primary care clinic setting. Duties include conducting well-visits, administering preventative medicine, managing chronic diseases, and performing immunizations and related laboratory tests.
Responsibilities
- Conducting well-visits, preventative medicine, and chronic disease maintenance
- Administering immunizations and related laboratory tests
- Working in an outpatient geriatric primary care clinic setting
- Utilizing hospital privileges as required
Requirements
- Hospital privileges required
- 3 to 6 month locum engagement with potential for extension
Qualifications
- Board-certified in family medicine or internal medicine
Skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience with geriatric care
