Locum | Physician General Surgery

About the role

Monday – Friday, 8 am – 4:30 pm schedule
- 12 – 20 outpatient wound visits daily;
- 1 – 4 HBO treatments
- Outpatient wound care center
- EMR: Epic
- Debridements, wound vacs, HBO oversight, compression therapy required
- Coverage until permanent provider is hired
- 100% adult and geriatric patient population

Responsibilities

• Compression therapy

Requirements

• Current medical license in good standing
• Experience with debridements, wound vacs, HBO treatments, and compression therapy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree
• Board certification in surgery or related field
• At least 2 years of burn surgery experience

Skills

• Excellent communication skills
• Strong clinical judgment
• Effective problem-solving abilities
