Locum | Physician Gastroenterology

About the role

This is a gastroenterology position requiring 3 weeks per month commitment, with clinic days from 7:30am-4:30pm and procedure/or days from 7am-4pm. The position is 40 hours per week on a Monday-Friday schedule. A 2 of 3 weeks call rotation is required each month, with a minimum 6 month commitment and a 1 year assignment duration. Hospital privileges and ACLS and BLS certifications are mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and complex endoscopic procedures
• Manage patient consultations and follow-ups
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Contribute to research and education initiatives

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of recent experience in gastroenterology
• Hospital privileges required
• ACLS and BLS certification required

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree
• Board certified or board eligible in gastroenterology
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
