Locum | Physician Gastroenterology

About the role

Inpatient gastroenterology hospital coverage with ongoing coverage potential. 13–14 patients per shift, including inpatient rounding and admissions.

Responsibilities

• Upper GI endoscopy, ERCP, EUS, colonoscopy, and liver biopsy required
• PEG, esophageal dilation, small bowel biopsy, and Blakemore tube required
• 15-minute call response time with a 1:3 call ratio (no 24-hour call shifts)
• Mon–Sun, 8 am – 5 pm, with overnight call 5 pm – 8 am

Qualifications

• Inpatient gastroenterology hospital coverage experience
• Procedural competency in all required endoscopic and biopsy techniques listed above
