Locum | Physician Family Practice
About the role
Provides sports medicine services in an outpatient, community health center setting. Works 5 days a week, Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM. After-hours call is every 8 weeks. Manages 22 to 25 patients per day, across all age groups.
Responsibilities
- Tailors treatment plans to meet individual patient needs
- Performs physical exams and diagnostic tests
- Prescribes medications and treatments
- Collaborates with other healthcare professionals
- Conducts follow-up appointments
Requirements
Minimum 3 years of community health center experience required. Must have a medical degree and be board certified or board eligible in sports medicine.
Qualifications
Strong interpersonal skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to work independently are essential. Proficiency in computer systems and software is also required.
