Locum | Physician Emergency Medicine

About the role

Emergency medicine — not a trauma center, refers out
25 – 30 patients per 24 hours
Annual ED volume under 10,000 visits
Single/MD coverage model
ACLs and APLS certifications required

Responsibilities

• Triage and treat patients presenting with acute medical conditions
• Perform diagnostic tests and procedures as needed
• Collaborate with specialists as necessary
• Document patient encounters and treatments accurately
• Ensure timely referrals to appropriate specialists

Requirements

• Current medical license in good standing
• American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP) certification
• ACLS and APLS certifications required

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of emergency medicine experience
• Experience with single/MD coverage models

Skills

• Excellent clinical skills
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to manage high patient volumes

Schedule

12 shifts/month — 12 to 15 hour shifts available
Day shifts: 7 am – 7 pm or 10 pm
Night shifts: 7 pm – 7 am or 10 am
