Locum | Physician Emergency Medicine

About the role

Hospital-based emergency medicine opportunity with 8 – 10 night shifts needed, 12-hour shifts, 8 pm – 8 am. 20 – 25 patients per 12-hour shift. Midlevel APP support is available Sunday through Friday, 11 am – 11 pm. 18,000 annual volume with 1.6 – 1.9 patient visits per hour. Increased fast track coverage.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency medicine care in a hospital setting
• Treat 20 – 25 patients per 12-hour shift
• Work 8 pm – 8 am shifts
• Receive midlevel APP support from 11 am – 11 pm
• Manage 18,000 annual volume with 1.6 – 1.9 patient visits per hour
• Participate in increased fast track coverage

Requirements

Qualifications

• Must be board certified or board eligible in Emergency Medicine
• Experience in hospital-based emergency medicine is preferred
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with a multidisciplinary team
