About the role
A Locums Anesthesiologist is needed in Norfolk, VA.
Responsibilities
- Mix of 8, 10, and 12-hour shifts Monday through Friday
- Spinal, epidural, regional, and obstetrical anesthesia required
- Complex vascular and orthopedic cases
- Cardiac cath lab procedures
- Call includes weeknight and weekend coverage
Requirements
- Minimum 2 weeks per month, 4-day workweeks
- Adult patients required, pediatric preferred
- Experience with adult patients is required
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree
- Current license to practice medicine in the state of Virginia
- ACGME-accredited residency training in anesthesiology
- At least one year of clinical experience
Skills
- Knowledge of spinal, epidural, regional, and obstetrical anesthesia
- Experience with complex vascular and orthopedic cases
- Experience with cardiac cath lab procedures
