Locum | Physician Anesthesiology

About the role

Supervise Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) in performing upper and lower limb blocks, erector spine procedures, and TAP blocks. Manage orthopedic, general surgical, and obstetric/anesthesiology cases in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Supervise CRNAs in performing upper and lower limb blocks, erector spine procedures, and TAP blocks.
• Manage orthopedic, general surgical, and obstetric/anesthesiology cases in a hospital setting.
• Serve as an expert in upper and lower limb block techniques, erector spine procedures, and TAP blocks.
• Collaborate with other medical professionals to ensure patient safety and optimal care.

Requirements

• MD degree from an accredited medical school.
• Current license to practice medicine in Kentucky.
• At least three years of experience as an anesthesiologist.
• Experience supervising CRNAs.
• Knowledge of upper and lower limb block techniques, erector spine procedures, and TAP blocks.
• Experience managing orthopedic, general surgical, and obstetric/anesthesiology cases.

Qualifications

Pay

Compensation is competitive and tailored to the candidate's qualifications and experience.

Schedule

Monday through Friday; 9 - 13 hour shifts; Friday includes pager call until 7am.
