Locum | Physician Anesthesiology

About the role

Two full-time locum anesthesiologists are needed for an inpatient practice setting. The role covers orthopedic, vascular, neurological, obstetric, regional anesthesia, and thoracic procedures. Healthy pediatrics and CRNA supervision are required. PALS, ACLS, and BLS certifications are also necessary.

Responsibilities

• Manage anesthesia for orthopedic, vascular, neurological, obstetric, regional anesthesia, and thoracic procedures
• Supervise healthy pediatrics and CRNA
• Ensure compliance with PALS, ACLS, and BLS standards

Requirements

• PALS, ACLS, and BLS certifications required
• Experience in an inpatient setting
• Knowledge of various anesthesia techniques including orthopedic, vascular, neurological, obstetric, regional anesthesia, and thoracic procedures

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree
• Current license to practice medicine in the state(s) of employment
• At least one year of experience in an inpatient setting

Pay

We negotiate better pay and deposit it weekly.

Schedule

Monday – Friday, option for 8s or 10s. Weekday and weekend pager call — call schedule TBD.
