Locum Pediatric Anesthesiologist

About the role

Hospital-based anesthesia provider responsible for delivering general, regional, and trauma anesthesia across diverse patient populations, including adult, pediatric, and neonatal cases.

Responsibilities

• Performing general, spinal, epidural, regional, open heart, thoracic, and neurosurgical anesthesia
• Providing pain management through epidural steroid and transforaminal procedures
• Placing central and arterial lines
• Managing approximately 10 patients daily with scheduled clinical hours and call coverage

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience in anesthesia for trauma and various surgical procedures
• Proficiency in spinal, epidural, and regional anesthesia techniques
• Ability to perform central line and arterial line placements
• Strong communication and clinical skills

Key Duties

Providing anesthesia care, managing patient pain, performing invasive procedures, and ensuring patient safety during hospital-based surgeries and interventions.
