Locum Pediatric Anesthesiologist

About the Role

This position involves providing anesthesia coverage at a busy pediatric level I trauma center, including NICU and PICU, with a focus on high-acuity pediatric surgeries such as orthopedic, urology, neuro, and spine.

Responsibilities

• Administer anesthesia for a variety of procedures including kidney transplants, ENT, GI endoscopy, EP lab, IR, and MRI/LPs.
• Manage arterial lines and perform blocks such as caudal, adductor canal, interscalene, and ESP.
• Ensure patient safety and effective anesthesia care during diverse pediatric cases.
• Provide anesthesia coverage during scheduled shifts and participate in complex pediatric surgeries.
• Collaborate with the medical team and maintain professionalism while adhering to safety standards.

Requirements

• Experience with pediatric anesthesia, arterial line placement, and regional blocks.
• Ability to handle high-acuity cases in a fast-paced environment.
