Schedule
- 26-week assignment starting 08-31-26
- Scheduled shifts plus on-call coverage required
- Standard 4-day, 8-hour shifts (08:00 - 17:00)
About the role
This is a locum tenens position at an acute care hospital. Assignments are temporary, typically lasting weeks or months, to address staffing shortages in healthcare facilities. Locum roles offer competitive pay, flexible schedules, and the opportunity to work in diverse environments.
Responsibilities
- Conduct examinations and diagnose conditions related to the ear, nose, throat, head, and neck
- Perform ENT surgical procedures, including tonsillectomies, sinus surgeries, and head/neck cancer surgeries
- Respond to ENT-related emergencies such as airway obstructions, nosebleeds, and traumatic injuries
- Provide patient education on conditions, treatment options, and post-care management
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Maintain accurate and thorough medical records
Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school
- Completion of an otolaryngology residency program accredited by the ACGME or AOA
- Board certification in otolaryngology by the ABO-HNS or AOBOO-HNS
- Active and unrestricted Montana medical license
- At least one year of clinical experience (preferred)
