Responsibilities
- Perform history and physical exams, admit, evaluate, diagnose, treat, and consult on orthopedic conditions for patients of all ages.
- Manage trauma, infections, tumors, degenerative diseases of the musculoskeletal system, and deformities.
- Assess, stabilize, and determine disposition of patients with emergent conditions.
- Provide call coverage, including 24-hour on-call duties, at two medical centers.
- Perform surgical procedures related to trauma, infections, tumors, and degenerative musculoskeletal diseases.
Qualifications & Skills
- Board-certified in orthopedics with fellowship training.
- Licensed in IA or eligible via IMLC.
- Clean malpractice and background history.
Additional Details
- Must hold hospital privileges.
- Work in a Level III trauma setting with Epic EMR.
- Collaborate with support staff including four APPs.
