Seeking a qualified Ophthalmology MD for outpatient care in Virginia.
Responsibilities
- Managing non-surgical outpatient ophthalmology patients with a caseload of 20–30 daily.
- Interpreting OCT and photographic data essential for patient assessment.
- Collaborating with a team of 5 technicians and 2 scribes to ensure efficient patient flow.
- Providing general medical ophthalmology care, primarily for adult patients, with no surgical procedures involved.
- Covering vacation periods with a focus on patient care delivery.
- Utilizing an online portal for assignment details and documentation.
Qualifications and Skills
- Medical degree with licensure to practice ophthalmology.
- Experience in outpatient ophthalmology, with proficiency in OCT and photo interpretation.
- Strong patient management skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
