Locum Obstetrics/Gynecology Physician job in Longview, WA - Make $170/hr - $190/hr

A temporary locum tenens assignment lasting 13 weeks, starting 09-14-26.

About the role

This position is at an acute-care hospital in Longview, WA. Shift coverage includes both scheduled hours and on-call duties, with a standard 5-day, 8-hour schedule (08:00 – 17:00).

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive healthcare for women across all stages of life.
• Conduct gynecological exams, ultrasounds, and other diagnostic procedures.
• Perform surgical procedures such as hysterectomies, cesarean sections, and minimally invasive surgeries (scope of practice dependent).
• Diagnose and treat a wide range of women’s health conditions.
• Provide counseling on reproductive health, contraception, and family planning.
• Collaborate with pediatricians, neonatologists, and other healthcare professionals for optimal patient care.
• Maintain accurate and complete medical records for all patients.
• Stay current on advancements in obstetrics and gynecology through continuing education.

Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.
• Residency training in obstetrics and gynecology accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or the American Osteopathic Association (AOA).
• Board certification in obstetrics and gynecology by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG) or the AOA.
• Active and unrestricted medical license in Washington.
• At least one year of experience providing obstetric and gynecological care in a clinical or hospital setting (preferred).

Pay

$170/hour – $190/hour.
