$180 – $200 per day.
Schedule and Coverage
- Standard 5-day, 8-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:00
- Scheduled coverage plus on-call duties required

Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive healthcare for women across all stages of life
- Conduct gynecological exams, ultrasounds, and other diagnostic procedures
- Perform surgical procedures (e.g., hysterectomies, cesarean sections, minimally invasive surgeries) depending on scope of practice
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of women’s health conditions
- Provide counseling on reproductive health, contraception, and family planning
- Collaborate with pediatricians, neonatologists, and other healthcare professionals for optimal patient care
- Maintain accurate and complete medical records for all patients
- Stay current on the latest advancements in obstetrics and gynecology through continuing education
Skills
- In-depth knowledge of obstetrics and gynecology, including pregnancy, childbirth, and women’s health conditions
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making in fast-paced environments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Technical proficiency in gynecological exams, ultrasounds, and surgical procedures
- Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for surgical procedures
- Meticulous attention to detail and ability to adapt quickly to changing patient conditions, often in high-stress environments
- Time management and organizational skills to manage patient workload effectively
- Empathy and compassion for patients during sensitive medical situations
Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school
- Residency training in obstetrics and gynecology accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or the American Osteopathic Association (AOA)
- Board certification in obstetrics and gynecology by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG) or the AOA
- Active and unrestricted medical license in North Carolina
- At least one year of experience providing obstetric and gynecological care in a clinical or hospital setting (preferred)
